Loading docks equipped with dock barriers and safety measures at Mont Marte, demonstrating effective solutions to prevent accidents during loading and unloading processes

Project: Mont Marte – Murarrie, QLD

Gets a splash of Verge Safety Yellow in their new factory!

The Project: Mont Marte recently opened a new factory in the Brisbane suburb of Murarrie. While their mission is to empower everyone to explore their creativity, the safety of their employees is clearly their priority.

Summary of works: Mont Marte approached Verge to provide a solution in which staff could work in a safe environment without being at risk of falling off docks or being struck by moving forklifts.

Situation: The new and impressive facility comprised of multiple doorways and dock areas that are used for ventilation in conjunction with the distribution of products. Staff were needing a safe passage way to access lockers away from moving vehicles.

Solution: To combat the dock area fall hazard, Verge V-Boom gates were installed at each of the 9 doorways to provide a barrier between workers and the exposed edge. Verge Eco-Rail was placed in a corner near lockers to provide a safety zone, away from moving forklifts.

All products were manufactured, supplied and installed directly by Verge Safety Barriers.

Products used: V-Boom gates (double set), eco-rail.
