Non-conductible bollards are essential in protecting equipment exposed to electrical voltage. Equipment includes electrical transformers, generators, substations and power boxes.
Non-conductible bollards eliminate the risk of becoming electrified in the event of an incident. The Verge Non-Conductible bollard is manufactured from 20mm thick walled polyethylene, with a welded domed top. They are 1600mm high and concreted 500mm into the ground, leaving 1100mm exposed. Open-topped bollards are also available and can be filled with concrete.
