The AV011 is the 1-metre section in the 1000mm HD range. Same floor-mounted double-rail construction as the 700mm series, but standing 300mm taller for environments where larger vehicles operate, vehicle speeds are higher, or impacts occur at a higher point on the barrier. Heavy duty forklift barriers are used wherever moving industrial vehicles operate in the same space as fixed assets, infrastructure, or people. Forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and tow tractors routinely cause structural and equipment damage when site layouts rely on line marking alone to define separation. A physical steel barrier absorbs the impact before it reaches the asset behind it.
The HD Series is built for environments where impacts are expected rather than just possible. The double-rail construction handles repeated low-speed contacts without requiring immediate replacement. Individual barrier sections bolt independently to the floor, so a damaged section can be removed and replaced without pulling down the whole run.
Typical applications include warehouse racking protection, pedestrian walkway delineation, machinery and equipment perimeter guarding, mezzanine edge protection, loading dock approaches, fire equipment protection zones, electrical switchboard exclusion areas, and column protection where a column protector alone isn’t sufficient.
HD barriers work as standalone sections or as part of a connected system. Join multiple lengths to cover longer runs, use corner and end pieces to close off protected zones, and add safety gates where access through the barrier line is required. For sites that also need pedestrian separation from vehicle zones, combine with driver safety zone kits.
