FV414 – Verge Half Dome Mirror 1000mm (190°)

$218.00

The FV414 is a 1000mm half dome mirror with a 190-degree field of view. Where a full dome covers all four directions of a crossing, the half dome covers two – making it the right choice for a T-intersection, the end of a racking aisle or any position where the blind spot is in two directions but not four.

At 1000mm it is a large-format mirror suited to the viewing distances of a typical warehouse aisle end or T-junction.
Mounted on a wall or ceiling, it gives both the forklift operator and pedestrians an early sighting of each other before the hazard point.
For a four-way intersection requiring full coverage, use a full dome: FV403 (300mm), FV405 (600mm) or FV407 (900mm).
For a single blind corner, the FV417-FV420 quarter dome range (90 degrees) is more cost-effective.

1000mm large face for warehouse aisle ends and T-junctions
Wall or ceiling-mounted
More cost-effective than a full dome where four-way coverage is not required

Product Applications

Safety mirrors remove blind spots wherever people, forklifts, and vehicles share space and can’t see each other coming. Mounted above an intersection or on an outside corner, a convex mirror gives an early view of what’s around the bend, so a forklift driver and a pedestrian each know the other is there before they meet.

Typical uses include blind corners and T-intersections in warehouses and factories, the ends of racking aisles, loading dock and driveway exits, tight carpark ramps and corners, doorways where foot and forklift traffic cross, and retail aisle-ends for both safety and loss prevention. Indoor mirrors cover internal aisles and intersections, while external models are built to handle weather for outdoor and dock-edge positions.

Match the mirror to the sightline. A quarter dome (90 degrees) covers a single blind corner, a half dome (180 to 190 degrees) covers a T-intersection or a wall-mounted aisle, and a full dome (360 degrees) sits over a four-way intersection to cover all approaches at once. Choose an external convex mirror where the view is outdoors or exposed to weather, and size up as the viewing distance increases.
