GV504 – 5M Expandable Barrier

The 5 metre wall mounted barrier is ideal for denying entry to unsafe or unauthorized areas including factories and driveways. The slats are made of extruded aluminium. Brackets on the flank attach to wall or post. When the barrier is not in use it can be folded out of the way against the wall. A lockable castor is fitted on the expandable end of barrier plus a support wheel is fitted to the middle of the barrier for extra rigidity.
The durable powder-coated finish keeps the surface smooth and corrosion-free.

Do I Need A Mounting Post?
The GV504 and GV505 are not free standing, therefore need to be mounted to a solid structure.
Where no suitable structure exists, mounting posts (GV510) are required. The following diagrams illustrate the options:
If the Expandable Barrier is being installed between two walls or columns suitable for mounting, no mounting post is required.
If you have only one suitable surface to mount/receive the expandable barrier, one mounting post will be required on the opposite end.
Two mounting posts are required where there are no suitable walls/columns to mount the expandable barrier to.
