The GV501 is a portable 3m expandable barrier designed to control pedestrian movement and deny access to unsafe or unauthorised areas. At 950mm high and folding to just 250mm, it is compact and easy to store and transport.
Made from aluminium mesh on steel posts with ABS plastic feet, the GV501 is lightweight at 6.0kg yet sturdy enough for industrial use. Multiple units join together to create a continuous run at any required length.
Available in yellow and black for high visibility.

Expandable barriers control pedestrian and vehicle movement by denying access to unsafe or unauthorised areas. They concertina open to span a gap when needed and fold away compactly when not, so a single barrier can close off a walkway, doorway, or driveway in seconds and be stowed out of the way afterwards.
Typical uses include blocking walkways, stairways, and lifts during maintenance, cordoning off cleaning and spill zones, closing driveways and loading areas out of hours, creating temporary exclusion zones around work in progress, and guiding pedestrian flow in warehouses, factories, carparks, and public spaces. Portable models move with the job, wall-mounted models stay fixed to a wall or post and fold flat against it, and rotating models swing a full circle from a single fixed bollard.
Choose the expandable barrier to match how it needs to be used: portable freestanding for barriers that move with the job, castored for frequent repositioning, wall-mounted for a fixed point that folds away, plastic for light temporary work, and rotating for a single-point swing across a wide opening. Wall-mounted models need a wall or mounting post at each unsupported end.
The GV507 is a heavy-duty stand-alone expandable barrier in a discreet black finish. Expands to 6700mm wide and stands 1730mm high. No installation required — unfolds and is ready to use. Aluminium mesh on steel posts. Ideal for public spaces, events, hospitality and high-end commercial environments where a yellow finish is not suitable.
