The Verge Eco-EDGE system is a “kickplate made easy”. With its modular components, fixing a kickplate to the edge of your mezzanine floor is simple.

Eco-EDGE is 100mm high, formed from 1.6mm thick gal sheet, supplied in 3m lengths with joining plates for continuous runs. At the intersection of corners or where the kick plate terminates Eco-EDGE has an excellent connection system consisting of a range of brackets for all applications. All bracketing is powder-coated yellow and includes joiners, internal/external corners, gussets, and end-stops.

The system is Tek screwed together making it fast and simple to install. The lengths can be cut on-site to suit any application. The refined design eliminates sharp edges making it a safe solution that looks streamlined and is easy to notice!

This product compliments the Verge ECO handrail system adding that extra confidence in achieving compliance on your mezzanine floors.

Australian Standard for handrail on Elevated Platforms - AS1657

Infill may be constructed from pipe, bar, solid or perforated plate, expanded mesh, weldmesh or other material providing equivalent performance characteristics, taking into consideration strength and sharp edges. The area of any opening shall not exceed 0.2 m².

Expanded metal shall have no sharp edges. Where metal mesh is used, a rigid rail shall be provided as the top rail. Alternatively, the mesh shall be reinforced on the top edge to provide performance equivalent to a top rail.

Note: Metal mesh may be welded wire, chain, or woven.
