The KV751 Driver Safety Zone Kit is a complete, ready-to-install enclosure that gives visiting delivery drivers a defined, physically protected waiting area on your site. Three-sided, 3×3 metre footprint. Built around the Verge Heavy Duty Barrier system, with a safety gate entry point, two bollards at the open side, and a Driver Safety Zone sign and post included.
A painted line is no longer accepted as a means of separation between pedestrians and vehicles under current WHS guidance. The KV751 creates a heavy-duty steel barrier enclosure built to withstand the demanding conditions of busy freight, logistics and manufacturing environments.
Approximately 15% of injuries in the road freight transport industry result from being hit by trucks, forklifts or other moving vehicles. The KV751 removes the driver from that hazard area entirely. The heavy-duty barrier construction is the right choice for sites with frequent vehicle movement, higher-speed traffic or heavier forklift activity. For lighter-duty applications or lower-traffic environments, the CV152 with ECO-Barriers is a more cost-effective option. For freestanding installations with no wall, use the CV151 (4-sided ECO-Rail kit).

Carparks and loading areas are among the most common sites for vehicle-pedestrian incidents. Drivers misjudge stopping distances, visiting delivery drivers wait in unmarked areas near active vehicle traffic, and bays without physical delineation rely entirely on painted lines that are easily missed or ignored.
Carpark safety equipment creates physical separation and defined stop points that don’t depend on driver attention or site familiarity. Wheel stops give vehicles a clear physical reference to stop against. Driver safety zones give visiting drivers a protected waiting area away from forklift and vehicle traffic, a requirement under current WHS guidance where a painted line is no longer accepted as a means of separation.
Use these products wherever vehicles and pedestrians share space: commercial and residential carparks, warehouse and distribution centre dock areas, manufacturing and industrial facilities with regular deliveries, retail and shopping centre carparks, hospital and aged care facility carparks, and logistics and transport hubs.
Carpark safety equipment works best as part of a wider site traffic management setup. Pair wheel stops with driver safety zone kits to control both where vehicles stop and where visiting drivers wait. For sites with active forklift traffic near loading areas, add safety bollards to define vehicle approach paths and keep pedestrian zones clearly separated.
