The BV071 is the current-model Verge Soft-Close V-Gate with a left-hand hinge.
The soft-close hinges eliminate gate slamming while still ensuring the gate pulls itself shut after every use. Gate panel width can be customised for different opening sizes. 1000mm high x 1000mm gate width (1358mm overall width including posts).
Free-standing design means no impact transfers to the adjacent barrier. Supersedes the old-style BV051. Complete with two gate posts, gate furniture and all fixings. For right-hand hinge, choose the BV072.

Pedestrian gates create a controlled access point within a safety barrier run. They let pedestrians pass through a barrier line without breaking it, and self-closing hinges mean the opening seals shut again the moment someone walks through, rather than being left propped open.
V-Gates are the standard choice for pedestrian-only openings in warehouses, factories, and distribution centres, placed where a walkway passes through a barrier protecting a work area, machine perimeter, or mezzanine edge. Swing Boom Gates handle the same opening but with a horizontal boom that swings out of the way for forklift or vehicle access, then closes back across the pedestrian path to maintain separation when vehicles aren’t passing. Vivid Gates add a warning light and audible alarm that activate when the gate is open, flagging an open barrier point in high-traffic environments. Double V-Gates cover wider openings that a single gate can’t span.
Common applications include warehouse pedestrian crossings, mezzanine stair and lift landings, machine access points, loading area pedestrian paths, and anywhere a safety barrier run needs a gated opening that stays closed.
V-Gates and Swing Boom Gates suit most standard pedestrian openings in barrier runs. Choose a single V-Gate for a pedestrian-only opening up to 1000mm wide, a 750mm model for tighter gaps, a Double V-Gate or Swing Boom Gate for wider spans, and the Vivid Gate where you need an open-gate alarm in addition to the self-closing function. Pair gates with HD barriers or ECO-Rail handrail to complete the barrier run on both sides.
