In 2022 – Stage 2. Commences.

The Project:

Autonexus were already proving the benefits of Verge product working well in the high traffic areas of the Pemulway NSW site.

Due to expansion to accommodate the new product lines, Autonexus invited Verge Safety Barriers to visit site to measure up and offer recommendations for the new sections of their warehouse.  

Section 1. Existing Verge product at site.

Situation:

The Autonexus site is a busy facility fitted out with pallet racking, therefore experiencing plenty of forklift traffic, along with order pickers creating a possible interaction between staff and forklift activity.

Section 2. Verge needed to create a safe working environment between the walkway from the pick and packing area and to the staff amenities.

Section 3. A safety zone was required to protect the dispatch managers desk, printers, and expensive equipment. Along with protection from the pallets and boxes from being stacked too close to the walkway with potential of falling into the work zones.

Solution:

Assorted Verge HD (heavy duty) Barrier kits were used to create safe walkways around the warehouse and were also used to provide a protected safety zone around the dispatch area. Verge V-stop floor angle was also installed in the bulk stacking areas for the boxes and pallets as containment and work zone protection.
